Tear-out is heavy and awkward, which is the whole reason it sits in the driveway for three weeks. Cabinets, countertops, tile, tubs, toilets, carpet and pad, trim and drywall all come out fine.

Concrete, brick, block, dirt and roofing shingles come out too, but they get priced by weight rather than by how much of the truck they fill, because a half load of concrete is already at the limit. Tell us on the phone if the pile is masonry so we bring the right truck.

If we did the remodel or the deck tear-off, the haul-off is part of that job and you will never see it as a separate line.

Tenant turnovers and cleanouts

Landlords and property managers call about the same thing every time: a unit full of somebody else's belongings and a date it has to be rentable. We clear it, sweep it, and leave you something you can show. Give us the turn date when you call.

Estate cleanouts run the same way, just slower and with more asking. Anything you want set aside gets set aside. Tell us what matters before we start, not after.

How it gets priced

Junk removal is priced by how much of the truck the load fills, plus labor for stairs, long carries and anything that has to come apart to get through a door, plus weight when the debris is heavy. Nobody can quote that accurately over the phone from a description, so we come look. There is no charge for that.

If a piece is still good, say so. We would rather see something used again than dumped, and it costs you nothing to ask.
